Pork Curry and Stir-fried Sour Cucumber



Cooking pork curry is easier than cooking chicken curry , to me.
If I were to cook chicken curry, I need to remove all those visible fats on the chicken with kitchen scissors.  And it is time consuming and troublesome.
So, I cook pork curry most of the time.


Lunch Menu :
1. Pork Curry
2. Stir-fried Cucumber with salt and vinger
3. Dessert : Rice Biscuits
4. Coffee

A Quick Breakfast



I only had 15 minutes for breakfast.
It was included making coffee, cut cheese slices, topped the biscuits with blueberry jam and eating them !
So, taking small size biscuits would be faster than eating 2 pieces of square bread.

Breakfast Menu :
1. 4 pieces of Wholemeal Biscuits with Blueberry Jam and Cheese Slices.
2. Sugarless Coffee

Breakfast : Chocolate Raisin Bread and Butter


It is better for me buy a loaf of chocolate raisin bread instead of making it myself.
But the fact is that I never try to make one.

Spicy Black Pepper Beef Liver


I bought a piece of beef liver and decided to make a stir-fry black pepper beef liver.
It was cook according to the oriental style.

Spicy Black Pepper Beef Liver (辣味黑胡椒牛肝):

Ingredients A :
beef liver 
julienne ginger 
french cut half an onion
chopped garlic
red and green chilli

Seasoning(B) :
crushed black peppercorns
corn flour
fish sauce 
black soy sauce ( optional)
sugar

Cooking Method:
1. Thinly slice beef liver to about 3-4 mm.
2. Marinate the beef liver with seasoning (B) + ginger+  green + red chilli for 15 mins
3. Heat the frying-pan :+ ginger and onion + marinated beef liver. 
4. Stir fry the beef with high heat for 1 mins + hot water and fry for 2 mins.
( * Longer cooking time will cause beef liver hard and tough in texture )











Lunch Menu :
1. Stir-fried Spicy Black Pepper and Beef Liver 辣味黑胡椒牛肝
2. Saute Little Bok Choy - no salt 清炒小白菜 - 无盐

Chicken Teriyaki of Black Canyon Coffee, Ipoh


Lunch at Black Canyon Coffee , Ipoh.
Both of us ordered the same food : Chicken Teriyaki which came with a small plate of teriyaki sauce. It was rather salty hence the sauce was not really enhanced the chicken chop as the chicken chop was salty too. So, I had just left it there.
The Chicken Teriyaki lunch set also came with a plate of cream of mushroom soup.

No Cooking



My neighbours called me to get some dishes when I was still wondering what to cook.
So, I didn't need to prepare dinner at all.

No Cooking Dinner Menu :
1. Chicken Herbal Soup 药材鸡汤( given by Yu-J , 玉姐)
2. Fried Towel Gourds 炒丝瓜( given by Fang- J, 芳姐)
3. Half of Fried Tofu and Half Mashed Taro ( 半煎豆腐芋头碎)- ( This special dish was prepared by Fang-J's son who is a cook )
