Chicken Rice and Roast Pork Rice

I have joined two friends for lunch in the restaurant.

So, there was not home cooking.

Both of them ate chicken rice but I preferred roast pork rice with braised egg.

We ordered some side dishes such as sour vegetables and curry bitter gourd and egg plant stuffed with meat in order to make our lunch not too "mono taste". 

My Lunch Menu :

1. Roast Pork Rice 

2. A no. of braised egg

3. A Mug of Dragon Fruit Juice 

Meaty Lunch

This is a meaty lunch after having a lonely dim sum breakfast.

I went out to Bercham New Town and was lazy to cook.

How about having some roast items since I have been eating vegetables, vegetables all the time ? ( This is my excuse of eating all meat lunch !)

Meaty Lunch Menu :

1. Mixed of Roast Pork, Roast Chicken and Roast Siew Cheong( pork offal make into sausages ,烧肠) with lots of chilli sauce and red chilli padi. (RM4.80)

+   A bowl of white rice instead of oily rice.

2. Dessert : Sunmaid Dried Mixed Fruit.

3. A mug of 3-in-1 coffee.

Chicken and Roast Pork Belly Rice

White chicken and roast chicken rice are my last choice for lunch and dinner.

I prefer roast pork if I have a choice of eating these three.

The bonus dish is to have a plate of sour vegetables.

Lunch Menu for 3 :

1. White Chicken and Roast Chicken

2. Roast Pork Belly

3. Two plates of Yellow Oiled Rice and A Plate of Plain Rice ( This was for me).

4. But, where is the Bonus Dish ? We hadn't ordered any that day.

( Actually the stall was to busy and we had been waiting for about 30 mins. The only thing we wished to do was to finish lunch and left quickly !)

Pak Kong Chicken Rice at Jalan Theatre , Ipoh

We were around Ipoh New Town.

The nearest and the famous chicken rice, Pak Gong Chicken Rice (白宫鸡饭）is just around the corner.

So, We decided to patronise at this Chicken rice restaurant. It was crowded during lunch hour and we waited less than 10 minutes to be seated.

Lunch Menu for 3 :

1 plate of yellow rice 

2 plates of white rice

White chicken and roast chicken 

Sour vegetables

Soup 

This savoury chilli sauce is the thickest chilli sauce that I have ever seen. It completes the meal with extra fragrant be it the rice or the chicken. Impressive.

The other chicken rice sauce out there is rather watery .
